His love of wine and gastronomy is a major source of inspiration for his approach to fragrance accords, always seeking out unexpected combinations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith his creation Artis, he won over the jury, chaired by Dora Baghriche, with an innovative combination of Grasse centifolia rose and Alaskan cedarwood. According to jury chair Dora Baghriche, the composition demonstrates “exceptional modernity and technical refinement”.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter the competition, Batiste undertook an internship at Chanel’s perfume laboratory, where he worked alongside Olivier Polge and Christopher Sheldrake.
