Told London is a home fragrance brand where scent, art, and travel converge. The collection comprises richly layered fragrances, refillable porcelain objects, and packaging designed to bring stories, memories, and places to life.
Each fragrance originates from a place of personal significance. For the development of the compositions, Told London collaborates with renowned perfume houses and perfumers, while the brand's visual world is built around illustration, material, and craftsmanship. The porcelain holders feature drawings by British artist Kerry Lemon and are designed to be either refilled after use or given a new life as an interior object.
Told London was founded by Lillie and Chris Edgar. Lillie was born in the Seychelles and partly grew up between the islands and her grandparents' home in India. During her studies at the University of Aberdeen, she met Chris, who is from Northern Ireland. Travel and a shared interest in different cultures became an important part of their life together.
After careers in London, they moved to the Sussex countryside, where Chris retrained in garden design and Lillie in interior design. The family now lives on Lake Como in Italy. The places they have lived and travelled to form the starting point for Told London: a collection in which fragrance is used to evoke a landscape, memory, or moment anew.
Sustainability is also integrated into the design. The candles and diffusers are refillable, the porcelain holders are intended for years of use, and the packaging uses FSC-certified paper and cardboard, cotton, and plastic-free materials, among others. The candles are manufactured in the United Kingdom using natural soy wax.
At émigré, you will find Told London as scented candles, candle refills, and diffusers.
