Fragrance description

Streambound is a fresh, green fragrance with spicy, aromatic notes and an earthy, woody base. Violet leaf, tomato leaf, blackcurrant and grapefruit lend the composition a vibrant green character. Mimosa and lily of the valley add soft floral nuances, whilst clary sage, cardamom and angelica provide a spicy note. Damp earth, oak moss and dry woody notes evoke a landscape of greenery, water and woodland soil.

Inspiration behind the fragrance

As a child, perfumer Chiemezie Nwakire walked for kilometres every morning and evening to fetch water. It wasn’t always something he fancied doing, but the route through gardens and scrubland brought him something unexpected: a vocabulary of scents. Freshly mown grass, dry logs, decaying leaves, moss and fertile, loamy farmland.

Just before he arrived, the stream would announce its presence: the sound of flowing water and singing birds, the coolness and the fresh, earthy scent. Arriving brought a sense of warmth and relief.

With Streambound, Nwakire captures that journey in a perfume. In this way, he also wants people who have never walked that path with him to experience what it felt like to arrive.
