A lush tropical composition centred around juicy guava. Sparkling bergamot and grapefruit open the fragrance with a effervescent freshness, followed by a guava accord developed exclusively for ERIS, which unfolds into a colourful interplay of ripe tropical fruit, sambac jasmine and green galbanum. Lively, seductive and sensual, with a floral-woody structure that adds depth and elegance.

Inspiration behind the fragrance

DELTA OF VENUS reinterprets the forbidden fruit from the Garden of Eden as an exuberant, ripe guava. Perfumer Antoine Lie sought to capture the scent of a perfectly ripe guava in all its aromatic facets: juicy, exotic, slightly creamy and almost intoxicating in its intensity.

The tropical fruit is enveloped by a sparkling accord of citrus fruits, whilst bitter green galbanum takes on the role of the serpent in paradise. The sensual depth of sambac jasmine adds a decadent, almost sinful dimension to the composition.

The result is a colourful and sparkling fragrance that feels both layered and seductive. An olfactory temptation in which expulsion from paradise has never smelled so alluring.

Antoine Lie is a French perfumer renowned for his bold and unexpected approach to fragrance. He regards perfume as a living sculpture and creates compositions that are layered, emotional and fearless in challenging conventions.

As an independent perfumer, Lie values creative freedom more highly than set formulas. He prefers to collaborate with brands that prioritise artistic expression over mass-market trends.
