Librido
Eau de Parfum
Composed by Pia Long, reviewed by Nick Gilbert
Fragrance description
A passionate affair with the printed word. The scent of bookbinder’s glue, fresh ink and glossy magazines gives way to new paper, well-thumbed paperbacks and time-worn, leather-bound volumes. Cedarwood, iris and sandalwood lend the composition a refined woody character, whilst musk and ambergris provide an intimate warmth.
Ideal for
Book lovers and anyone who enjoys getting lost in libraries, bookshops and the scent of paper. Librido is perfect for quiet moments of reading, literary encounters and romantic exchanges of glances with an irresistibly attractive librarian or bookseller.
Fragrance families
Wood, paper, fougère, leather.

Inspiration behind the fragrance
Librido stems from perfumer Pia Long’s obsession with books and libraries. After hundreds of trials to capture the characteristic scent of paper, a composition emerged that unfolds on the skin into a richly stocked library: the ultimate fragrance for book lovers. If perfume is the food of love, then spray away.
