Inspiration behind the fragrance

Nuage Vert is inspired by the Green Ray, a rare atmospheric phenomenon visible in only a few places in the world.

This emerald-green flash of light appears at sunrise or sunset, when the sky turns red and the light is refracted in a unique way in the atmosphere.

The phenomenon has inspired generations of artists and poets. Jules Verne even dedicated his novel The Green Ray to it. According to legend, only those with a pure heart can perceive the Green Ray. Verne wrote that whoever sees it learns to understand their own feelings and those of others better.

Just like its source of inspiration, Nuage Vert is a fragrance of contrasts: green and luminous, soft and sharp, penetrating and quiet. A composition that envelops without trying to please.
