Fragrance description

A distinctive and unconventional Finnish gourmand fragrance, inspired by the salty sensation of traditional salmiak. Liquorice root is sprinkled with salmiak salt, black pepper and bright green aniseed. Immortelle and myrrh enhance the bittersweet character, whilst cade, birch and rectified cedarwood provide an intense smokiness. Dark, salty, spicy and irresistibly polarising.

Inspiration behind the fragrance

Salmiakki pays homage to perfumer Pia Long’s Finnish roots and to the distinctive flavour of Finnish salted liquorice. The formula builds on the theme of salted liquorice first explored in Fume from the Demo Accords series. The result is a bold olfactory exploration in which salty, sweet, bitter and smoky notes come together.
