Spell 125 is a mystical composition of white ambergris, Siberian pine, black hemlock and green sacra incense. Resinous woods and aromatic conifers are softened by ylang ylang and creamy Indian sandalwood, resulting in a fragrance that feels simultaneously spiritual, earthy and enchanting.

A deep, meditative fragrance that evokes ancient rituals, sacred forests and hidden knowledge.

Inspiration behind the fragrance

The seventh fragrance released by Papillon in the house’s seventh year, on the seventh day of the seventh month. In ancient Egypt, the number seven was considered the number of the gods, and it is these deep esoteric connections that intertwine the inspiration and composition of Spell 125.

Everything about this perfume is imbued with magic, history and ancient mysticism. Our perfumer was fascinated by the cyclical nature of creating Spell 125. She began the Papillon collection with Anubis, a perfume inspired by ancient Egypt, and with this creation returns to the same source of inspiration.

Thus the circle is complete: from her first perfume to this, her seventh.
