Parfums Berry is an independent niche perfume house, founded by Cécile Vialla in Normandy. At the intersection of art, place, memory and sensory exploration, the house has been developing its own approach to perfume for over a decade: a perfumery of presence, perception and revelation.
Central to this approach is Olfactive ID® by Berry, a process developed by Cécile that reveals the olfactory identity of materials, places and environments that are sometimes considered quiet or unremarkable.
The house regularly collaborates with artisans, scenographers, ceramists, researchers, artists and cultural institutions to create experiences in which scent becomes a medium in its own right.
The work of Parfums Berry has been recognised for its innovative and pioneering nature, notably by the Trophées de l’Artisanat, Cosmetic Valley and within the LENEFIN project.
Today, Parfums Berry continues to develop olfactory works, perfume collections, artistic installations and large-scale cultural projects, including Les Épopées Parfumées: De Rollon à Guillaume, a project recognised within the Millennium 2027 initiative.
Cécile Vialla
Cécile Vialla is the founder and perfumer behind Parfums Berry.
Recognised as an Artisan d’Art since 2018, her work lies at the intersection of perfumery, artistic creation and applied research. Her approach is shaped by a keen sensitivity to materials, atmosphere and perception, treating scent not merely as a composition but also as a means of interpretation.
In her work, Cécile explores how scent can reveal what often goes unnoticed: the character of a material, the resonance of a place or the emotional trace of a memory.
